Abbie Bradshaw installing Mutual Position (2021) at Tabacco Warehouse

Abbie Bradshaw (b. 1995, Liverpool, UK) is a multidisciplinary artist whose performance-based practice explores the interplay between the body and the architectures that contain it. Her practice investigates how the body navigates and is shaped by its inhabited environments. Working across performance, moving image, installation, and sound, she examines the psychology of space, how physical structures influence movement, behaviour, and the ways of being. Examining how spatial conditions, both material and behavioural, shape human movement and modes of existing within contemporary and historical environments.

By reconfiguring habitual gestures and using choreographic objects. She invites audiences to consider alternative spatial behaviours and renewed ways of being. Her explorations often unfold within liminal or transitional spaces where perception shifts, prompting a heightened awareness of presence, relation, and embodied experience allowing viewers to encounter space—and themselves—with renewed sensitivity.
